Spanish Language TV Online

The following links are to live streams of Spanish language tv online.

Spanish language tv streams may originate from countries other than Spain or Latin America. The primary reason is that some countries and organizations are interested in either providing news or information for the Spanish speaking world or in promoting a point of view. For this reason, some of the Spanish language streams below originate in Spain, others in Latin America, some in the United States.

An attempt has been made to categorize the following streams and make sure they are working, but some streams come and go. In fact, some streams only exist for certain hours of the day. As for the categories, some are mislabeled at the moment – I will be trying to improve the categorization of these live streams. Unless noted each of these links is directly to the media stream.

Some of these streams will open in a media player embedded in a web page, others will open in a standalone media player.

Many of these stream locations change from time to time and I’m making an effort to keep up. Fortunately many of these are constant links and have been available for a while. My hope is to continue to add links here as they become available.

Using the links below you can watch free live tv from Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile and the United States online here. These links can be a great resource for practicing your understanding of the spoken Spanish language from various areas of the world. It is also interesting to see the point of view and range of news stories that are important in other areas of the world.

It’s also worth noting that the content of these streams may vary due to time of day in the location that the station broadcasts from. So…. late night in the United States is going to be the wee hours of the morning in Spain. (5 hour time difference from the East Coast US). Because of this time difference and a difference in cultural norms some of the content may not be “safe for work” as they say.

I was just recently contacted by the webmaster of a site that I think you’ll really enjoy that I want to mention before the listing: TVFilia.com is a great site for tv online, where you can see a variety of programs and movies in Spanish on demand. There is a web media player to download and install (Windows only), but some great shows and movies are available here. (Fantastic collection!) There are also some live channel streams there, so be sure to take a look.
